Thanks for stopping by! We are a husband & wife photography duo based in Washington and California. We love to travel around the world taking photos. Environmental portraiture is our passion and we enjoy working with clients who share our love for nature and adventure. But we also can’t resist the love and joy of a wedding day! We love what we do and we love that we get to do this together!

We hope that through our images, you are able to relive all the feelings you felt on your special day. Our editing style is timeless and true-to-life. We celebrate true skin tones and vibrant colors. Our goal is to capture your day just as you remember it! We aim to create a positive atmosphere, help you feel at ease, and make genuine connections. We photograph both a mixture of candid and directed images through-out your day, highlighting the moments that make your story special and unique.

A little about us and how we started…

We were both born and raised in southern California and now call the great PNW our home with our golden retriever, Trooper. We met in college and fell in love in San Diego over rock-climbing and comedy shows. We are both outdoor enthusiasts and love photographing people in important moments of their lives. When it comes to a great experience, we are not afraid to hike up mountains, backpack for days, or wake up at 4:00 am to see the perfect sunrise. Beautiful landscapes and good company are what we love the most. We take our dog almost everywhere with us. When we aren’t at dog parks, you can usually find us exploring local hiking trails, backpacking, beach bumming, skiing, and mountain biking.

How Amare Images all began…

Our love for photography began before we met. Together, we began taking photographs of our travels and this transitioned to taking photographs for family and friends. When we got engaged in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we realized that life is too short to not follow your passions. We started our photography business while we still currently working our frontline jobs. Our photography is our passion project and is truly something we love to create and gift to others. It allows us to escape the mundane and reconnect with what matters the most to us; love, connection and gratitude. We love to meet new people, hear their stories, collaborate, and capture authentic emotions. We draw our inspiration from the beauty of the surroundings and how the environment makes you feel in the moment. We treat every photo session and wedding like it is our very own because we know how precious and inimitable these moments are in life.

Our ultimate goal is to tell your story through our photographs and we hope that they become a memento of a special chapter in your journey together.
