Frequently Asked Questions

How will I receive my photos after?

We will email you a link to a digital gallery where you can download all of your high resolution, edited photos. Wedding and elopement photos can be delivered via USB flash drive as well if requested in advance for a additional fee.

What happens if the weather is bad, such as rain or snow?

Photographing in the PNW, we have learned that Mother Earth and road conditions are very unpredictable. We always keep an eye on the weather leading up to your shoot or event and give you notice if conditions are not suitable. We know that rain during a photo session is undesirable for most and we are willing to reschedule if the weather is not on our side that day. We also recommend choosing a backup date if your photo session is scheduled during the wet months. However, we also love the idea of embracing nature and we are down to photograph in the rain, snow, and heat.

When will I receive the photos?

We ask that you give us up to 2-3 weeks to process couple, family and portrait sessions. There is more work in processing wedding/elopement galleries and the turnaround time varies with each situation (typically 2-3 months). We always work our best to beat the timeline stated in our contracts. We will send you a few early edited sneak peek photos within 48 hours so that you can share these with family and friends.

Will we receive a photo of every pose we did?

No, sometimes a pose does not turn out how we intended it to and therefore not all poses will be provided. Your gallery will consist of images that we have chosen as the golden moments. It is our goal to provide high quality images and not quantity. However, if you recall a specific moment that you loved but it didn’t end up in your final gallery, reach out to us and we will do our best to provide it to you.

Will you be providing unedited images?

No unedited or raw images will be provided. A lot of love and care is put into the editing process and raw images do not reflect our finished work.

Are you a licensed and insured business?

Yes, we are a professionally licensed and insured business.

Do you photograph outside of Washington and California? Internationally?

Yes! We do operate outside of Washington and California, typically within the United States. We absolutely love to travel and meet new people! However, we can only consider photo locations outside of the United States if we can meet the proper legal requirements and obtain permission beforehand. Many countries have strict laws on working overseas and require a special permit or work visa. We will always honor a foreign country’s working laws and will only promise our services if the proper laws are followed. Please be cautious of any vendors who do not go through the proper channels as they are putting your wedding day is on the line!

Do you offer any discounts?

We are proud to offer a 10% discount to all first responders, nurses, active military, veterans, and fellow wedding vendors. We greatly appreciate your service! Please mention the discount to us upon booking!

What is required to book my wedding date?

We require a 20% deposit and a signed contract to book your date. The remainder is due 30 days before your date to avoid any stress on your wedding day.

Do we have to sign a contract?

Yes, we create customized and thoughtfully prepared contracts for each client that must be signed before your shoot or event. We highly advise against booking any vendor without reading and signing a contract.

What happens if you have an Emergency and cannot shoot our wedding?

We try our best to take the proper health precautions leading up to your big day. We have never had to cancel or hire associate shooters for our events but this cannot be 100% guaranteed. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable and emergencies do happen. If circumstances do require us to hire associate photographers, we will try our very best to hire the best associate photographers(s) who we personally know that will work as hard for you on your wedding day as we would.

If you would like to also hire a backup associate photographer(s) for an additional retainer fee to hold your date, please talk to us more for details.
